new job number of dependant for tax deductions while our case is at NVC

Hello everyone,

I have a question. Our case has been at NVC for almost a month from the scan date and we have only just been able to pay the fees. I will start a new job tomorrow and I am wondering if the NVC requires something specific in terms of putting my wife as a dependant for the tax deductions from my pay check even though she is not in the US. Does anyone know if this is an important point for NVC since it only decides how much money will be deducted from my checks per pay period? As I remember when I filled out all the forms for a new job I had to decide, in this case it would be between 1 or 2 dependants (just myself or me an my wife).
