My wife had her interview the other day and they gave her a 221g white paper asking her to send the missing document for name change and they also told her to send her passport too so is this good or will it take a long time like I've been seeing all over the web?

My wife has a document that was lost in the mail or by the embassy. They received a replacement on 6-23 and CEAC updated 6-25. Now we wait and hope we get it this month. It seems to take longer once you get the 221g as people getting their interviews seem to get their visas fast.

Good luck!

'all over the web' ?? oh no !

hey - study the timelines in yer portal here - click the country flag under yer name, study ! [best done on a pc, as handphones are abysmal for real research]

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

What's all over the web? Denials?

As long as you fulfill the required documents on the 221G notice, hopefully they will approve the visa immediately.

So giddyup!

best wishes :)

Yes its good that they asked for the passport. I don't know if it will be like what you are seeing all over the web . I would caution you that no place is the same as BKK when it comes to the daily functions that affect your case.

A simple missing doc shouldn't take long once its submitted to be placed in the case file & allow the issuance of the visa. Last one I know of took two weeks.
