my case is finally complete and even have an interview date schedule for August ! i havn't even gotten an email saying my case complete. Was wondering how long does it take for them to send me a letter or package or email that my case is complete and my interview date and the things my husband will have to bring with him as well as the medical and all of that. I called the NVC just by curiosity to see if they reviewed my last civil documents they needed and she said my case was completed and they even schedule an interview already.

April 1, called NVC and they told us our case was complete

April 7, received email from NVC that our case was complete

April 30, called NVC and they informed us our interview was scheduled for 6/3

May 7, finally received the "P4" email with all instructions, from Colombia consulate.

You might not experience a month long delay to receive your P4 email because there was a long world wide delay in scheduling interviews back in April. But yes, you will probably need to be patient for 1 or 2 weeks.

They will send an email soon with the interview date on it. you will have to print this letter and take it for the visa interview. They don't send any other package for IR1/CR1.

Congratulations ! I am going through the same process for my fiancee. I have been checking the CEAC status page and it only says the case was ready for interview scheduling with the consulate in Guayaquil. The consulate has not given us any information about whether they have received the case. Did you have to go through the same? Can you tell me a little about what to expect? Thanks
