AOS Forms Questions

I am trying to fill out my wife's AOS forms. Do I list her maiden name or my last name? Her Philippine passport has her maiden name on it.

EVERYTHING is done in your wife's married name!

The A number is on the visa under your name/address info

Another place to find the A number is on the paperwork you received from the government (NOAs) during the K1 process. Hopefully you kept all this information.

Suggestion

Let her fill out the AOS form, and once she is done then you double check them.

You probably did all the paperwork for the K1, and the AOS is a lot less paperwork and much easier

For all paperwork going forward begin to use your new legal name. So, if you chose to use the Filipino naming format First Name-Family Name-Husbands Last Name then you would use that format for all your paperwork going forward.

"A" number (Alien Registration Number) is made up of 9 digit numbers plus an A at the front and looks like this A-205-xxx-xxx. The Number can be found on your visa under your husband's name or the A number can be found on the NOA2.

No. Look UNDER where YOU THE PETITIONER's name, city and state are listed, the A number is below there
