Question about Igor's list for TSC.

Was just going through Igor's list for TSC I129F approved applicants (since us TSC people have nothing better to do) and noticed that there were a considerable amount of applicants approved in only weeks.

For example February 2015 has a ton of applicants who were approved in mere weeks.

I know Philippines are auto expedited. As well as some other countries (not sure which ones exactly).

But some of the recipients countries listed definitely do not fall under auto expedite.

Just curious what else falls under an auto expedite.

I'm assuming just the whole randomness and joke that is TSC?

No, it is due to people who do not understand that the Dallas Lockbox and TSC are two different things. A good 20-30% of cases listed under TSC are actually at CSC.

Hard to say. Anything can happen with their giant bin system of rummage and grab whatever file happens to get into their hands.

I suspect though, that many think they've sent it to Texas (because it goes to the lockbox in Texas) and don't bother to realize that the case actually goes to CSC.

For Feb cases you need to only look at their state of origin to determine which service center they were sent to, and to see if their timeline is correct. For the last week of March onwards, however, everyone is going straight to CSC.

Yes, what tabea said. A LOT of people think the Dallas lockbox and TSC are the same and so they put TSC and transferred to CSC, which leaves them still on TSC for Igors. It is a large percentage. Sometimes I get in trouble by the mods for telling people to fix their timelines. It's been happening for so long that the mods don't even care to try to make the data better.

Anyone from TSC who is a feb filer and approved is almost certainly actually at CSC. Just look to see if they list a transfer to CSC in their timeline or check out their state in their profile.

Humanitarian reasons. Natural disasters for Philippines and possibly now for Nepal.

I often think to myself, sadly there's a lot of other places that also deserve an expedite... but it is what it is.

Sometimes, as is the case with Phillipines, USCIS will make a special announcement that certain visa types will be auto-expedited. I've only been around long enough to see this one and it was a humanitarian effort because of the massive typhoon that hit there in late 2013. I assume other auto-expedites would be for other humanitarian reasons.
