My husband forgot to make a copy of our original i-130 package

Hi there,

Just realized when gathering all the stuff for the future interview at the consulate that a copy of the i-130 was not done. If we fill out a new i-130 will that be okay? it's a newer version than the original one we sent in.

ANY ADVICE? has anyone ever done this before? I'm stressing out

We didn't either. Don't worry about it.

I saw my file in Montreal and they had the I-130 there. I was like "oh that's a big file" and the guy said "not really, some are like 6 inches thick." Which for Montreal for a Canadian born citizen, would be ridiculous.

I brought for evidence: some emails and photos, and some skype records

I also took my original AOS and documentation, a copy of my DS-260 and confirmation sheet, all my civil document originals (birth certificate, marriage certificate, police certificate and passport,) hubs divorce decree, 2 photos US passport sized

I was only asked for the original AOS, my civil docs, and the photos. The interviewer took notes from my answers but didn't ask to see any evidence or the divorce decree.

I was done by 9am (ish) Easy peasy.

NLRs list is a good start

Be sure you have the long form birth certificate. Based on recent experience, if either of you have been divorced be sure to bring an original certified decree. We had a copy which is causing a delay.

Thank you so much for your help, I appreciate it so much. How did your medical go? Where did you get yours done? I live in NorthWestern Ontario by the Manitoba border so I will have to fly to Toronto or Montreal for that and also fly to Montreal for my interview when that comes time to do.

I did mine at Medisys and stayed in Montreal for a week. But I was from Central Alberta.

I'll have to try and get it all done in Montreal how long did it take to get your medical results back?

3 days after the Medical. Had it on a Tuesday and got the results back on the Friday.
