I hope I am posting it in right forum.

I know my potential husband for a while through social media. We both came from same country, and same background. And have very similar outlook in life.

I have been working in US on a non-immigrant visa. Now that I have my I-140 approved, and waiting for NVC to complete my case and send it to US consulate in Canada for interview for my permanent residence.

I learned the fact that it is much easier and faster to immigrate a spouse if I marry before getting the green card, rather than after getting the green card. Please suggest me the best possible way to marry that would raise least amount of red-flags.

His visa allows him to visit any of Schengen states.

Bad!

I contacted US Embassy in Germany, and they said Same Sex marriage in Germany isn't completely equivalent to hetero marriage. They offered B1/B2 visa though.

My question is, which countries in Europe have completely equal same sex marriage?

What's wrong with Canada.

Germany doesn't have same-sex marriage so whatever document you get from Germany will not be recognized for US immigration purposes.

As a Canadian citizen, you can travel to the Schengen countries (or most of them) where you should be able to marry your fiance. Then the US will have to recognize that marriage for immigration.

Your avatar implies you have a child? Were you married to a woman before? If so, your husband will need to explain to the US embassy why you're now marrying him despite those factors.

He doesn't have visa for Canada. I think getting him Canadian visa would be a lot more hassle than we just get married in some other European country.

The problem I am thinking of is the fact that he is Pakistani citizen, and he might not be able to get immigrant visa appointment somewhere in Europe, and the embassy staff in Pakistan might have local Pakistani employees. They might raise issues.

He can interview in any country he is resident.
