Are you currently in the USA and if so, are you here legally? If, for example, you are a student on an F1, this is still valid. But if your visa expired, then you need to leave, usually within 30 days.

When did this happen? Sounds like you entered on a K1 so your status would be firstly good fo 90 days and then as long as you adjusting status. Soon as you are not then you are out of status.

Your employment authorization document (EAD) was issued based upon your pending I-485. When the I-485 was denied your work permit was also denied or revoked. You are no longer authorized to work. Since the AOS (I-485) was denied you are no longer in the U.S. legally unless you were under some other visa which is still valid. You are normally sent a letter of denial and given 30 days to leave the U.S. If you do not leave by that time usually deportation proceedings are begun.

You are certainly able to apply for a new visa. Most of them will require you returning home first.

The work permit was conditionally valid only while your GC processing was in progress,

so that has expired as well.

I know it must be emotionally tough...especially after you finally make it US,

but life doesn't end with one relationship going sour.

Now focus on cleaning up your marriage records.

Divorce in US, and possibly in Ghana...

depending on where you got married.

Clean this up properly so that you could have another future chance with

another US spouse...if you so desire.
