Hey, guys! I'm actually new to this forum (however I've been registered to a lot of forums and I know the rules kind of. lol)

So,

I sent document to USCIS in March, they received them on March 31st (1st NOA on April 7th) and now I received NOA-2 (yesterday - hard copy. But approval - April 30th)

Called NVC, they haven't gotten my case yet and should I call them everyday? How does this process work? Or I'm trying to have everything too fast? Just curious. NVC is about no more than a month, right? So, in 2-2,5 month my bf will have an interview, right?

I hope everyone has a great day (especially people that read this) and good luck with your process, everyone!

I called them every day and I think they got a bit annoyed, but too bad. hahah! They received our packet last Friday, exactly 2 weeks after I got notification of NOA2. Then I received the Case number today, so I would call every day! :)

Edited: Hahaha, just realized we were talking on the March thread! :) Yes, call them every day!

Well, before posting March thread, I decided to post this since March is 2 month away now lol.

Thank you for the reply and I guess now my job will be calling them everyday. At least they work up until midnight, so...

And hopefully it will not take us 90 days, like they told me because I want to have wedding in August, on our 5 year anniversary. :)

Don't call NVC for at least another week. You're just wasting your time. CSC takes 2 weeks or more from the NOA2 to get petitions to NVC.

And who told you 90 days? For what? When NVC receives your case, it will be out of there and on its way to the embassy in less than 10 days. Once it gets to the embassy, it depends. Some will set up your interview w/in a month, some take 2+ months.

Removing Conditions Timeline

Aug. 10, '17: Mailed in I-751

Aug. 21, '17: NOA1

October 23, '18: NOA2- approval

October 30, 18: 10-year GC received

NVC people told me that because "we are too busy and loaded with many documents." That's why I got scared and decided to write this post.

And ok, I will call NVC then right after my finals. Thanks God I have education to get distracted with. I don't know what would I've been doing if I was basically sitting and waiting for my bf to arrive.

I do wonder if NVC has the same people answering the phones as those who actually work the cases. The answer is "probably not". However, I wonder if the every day calling we all tend to to (heck, yeah, I'll be doing that myself at that stage.. well.. maybe every other day.. but no less!) means they have to hire more Customer Service and not actual people who work the cases. Just thinking.

But yeah, usually the advice here is: wait 1-2 weeks after NOA-2, then hit the phone every day. After 2 weeks every day calling is fully legit.

And good luck with Moscow embassy once you get to that stage; please update us on how long it takes to schedule the interview and everything! Curious to know how much of a pain they are these days. ;)

Thank you for your reply. As I said, just in time when I'm done with my finals, I'll be free to call anyone for whatever time they ask :) (the first and only time I've called them - it took me 35 minutes just to wait, I even started to think "are there any alive humans over there?")

And I will post once it will go through NVC since we actually might have a problem at the interview stage.
