Good afternoon,

I sent my ROC packet in on 4/10/15 via ups and was received by the Vermont service centre on 4/14/15.

Looking at the response times for everyone else, I would have assumed I would have seen some sort of response or even cashing of the cheque for the filing/biometrics fee....

Should i start the process of infopass scheduling etc to try track down the location/status of my application???

Why don't you join I-751 April 2015 Filers thread?

Looks like you are not alone. Everybody who sent package around same time haven't received NOA letter yet...

Hey guys! Join the April 2015 filers thread for sure. We sent our package on the 15th, they received it on the 18th and our check was cleared today. It came up yesterday on my ex's bank account as processing and then today it cleared. So it was 10 full days for us before we saw anything in our bank.

We sent our package to USCIS Vermont on Saturday, April 18th 2015

They received the package on Monday, April 20th 2015

I believe you'll be okay. Don't try to take any trips outside the USA.

I did a search and found this in an old thread which makes perfect sense to me:

It is your card that will expire not your status. unless you are planning a trip outside the US you do not need a I-551 stamp. If you employer wants to renew your I-9 you only need a unrestricted SSN and a state ID. Thay can not demand to see a greencard.

nipa: NLR is correct. its just the conditional card has expired, not your status. I would not take a trip outside us till after I get my letter. Upon receipt of the letter you can go by your local uscis office and get an I 551 stamp.

Conditional GC is unlike the unconditional one. When your conditional GC expires, your LPR status is terminated and you are removable from the U.S (unless you file I-751 or I-829 in a timely manner). Conversely, when it is a 10-year GC that expires, you are not going out of status. You just need to renew the card to have an up-to-date proof of your LPR status.

Just to update everyone who is worried. I received NOA about 2 weeks ago. I actually just got back from a trip to Canada. The border agent told me I needed to get a sticker for the back of my green card. I didn't even know they did that. Anyway, I had no problems going and coming back with my expired green card and the NOA letter. I still haven't received a biometric letter and my receipt number doesn't show my status online. However the lady I spoke to at USCIS said it was perfectly fine. Just sitting tight now and waiting.

Thanks for all the people who commented.
