Hi Everyone , I'm in the process of AOS and we got RFE and I sent back the documents they needed about 20 days ago. Yesterday I checked my status in USCIS website and it was shown " New Card Is Being Produced" (with my I-765 receipt number ) then after couple of hours it changed to "Case Was Approved " so does this means they will still produce the card or is it something I should worry about ?

If it's under your i765 receipt number, then that means that what was approved is your EAD (Application for Employment Authorization) and probably AP (if you applied for that too) so you should get a combo card EAD-AP. I checked your timeline and you sent your AOS papers in february this year so I doubt its the GC approval so fast but who knows. Stranger things have happened.

On a different note, if your GC indeed was approved, then they will produce that card and not EAD. Give it a couple days/weeks until you receive mail.

Correct OP. It's the EAD/AP Combo Card, not GC.

Edit: Nothing to worry about.

Yes, if you applied also for your Advance Parole then you will received a combo card in the next couple days/weeks and you will be able to start working legally in US. :dancing:

Edit: The Advance Parole is for travelling abroad while your AOS is in process.
