My husband had his interview today. They told him he was approved, but that he was missing a form and needed to send it in. He went and got the form right away, and mailed it with his passport and they should get it tomorrow. They said it would only take 1-2 weeks, but I am freaking out. People who have gone through this, how long did it actually take?

Inshallah!

Thank you! I'm really feeling so emotional about this. It was so confusing to have this happen now. I mean, I thought I would be relieved after the interview and I feel worse at the moment. I guess I will be a basket case until he has his visa. It was the population report, which was not what we used at NVC. We used Formula A and Formula B, but at the embassy they wanted that whole family long paper too.

Congratulations!!!

My husbands interview is next week in Ankara. Just to make sure we have the right doc.. you are talking about the "nufus" report that lists more information than just the normal birth certificate? What did you mean by formula a and b?

Thanks!!

Nüfus Kayıt Örneği was the form. That family tree form that includes everything about everyone in your family. We used a Formula A - birth certificate and Formula B - marriage certificate to show them at NVC, but the embassy wants the full report. I guess it is our fault. I am trying to do this long distance and don't speak Turkish.

I have a visa group for Turkish couples on FB. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1599809866918834/
