Not sure if this is the right place to post this but....my husband has been in the US since December 25, 2014 and he never received his green card. I paid the $165 fee on December 23, 2014 before he even left Haiti. I have called USCIS several times and have been given the same answer..."Wait a few more weeks." Has anyone else experienced something similar? How long did it take you or your spouse to receive the physical green card? What should I do? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Kay

It can take up to 3 months or so, but yours does seem to be taking a while.

Don't panic, his visa acts as a GC for 1 year. Do you have case number to check in ELIS? That'll show you the progress. http://www.uscis.gov/uscis-elis

ELIS needs to say "card produced" before the card is ACTUALLY produced and sent to you.

I think 2014 was a typo since they say they entered in Dec.
