Another one of those where it depends would be the answer without more information.

Please ask your friend to join so we can ask follow up questions.

Both Brother's are in usa and sister is in pakistan and she did not get her visa yet.

Okay, I am trying to understand the facts.

1. Mother was the petitioner and passed before any of the brothers or sister had interview.

2. Brothers and sister notified the embassy or USCIS of mother's death. (was this true?). Why will your friend be worried about his case unless if it wasn't true? If it wasn't true, it will come up at time when they will need to do ROC to remove conditions on their green cards.

3. The brothers were the only ones who got interview letters and then approved and the sister did not. I am confused. Why was the sister not approved? Did she ever receive an interview letter? Did she have an interview? Was she place in AP after the interview? Did she notified USCIS or the embassy that her mother passed?

4. If sister's case was still pending at the embassy level, why did she get married? Otherwise there was no need for embassy personal to investigate her case unless she was place in AP (admin processing) and she already had the interview and field personal from embassy investigated her because they did not believe she was single and found out that she is married instead and on top of that found out that her petitioner is not longer here. Maybe, is that the reason she was told her case is over and finished? Lying will definitely put her in that situation. I am speculating here so maybe your friend can elaborate more about what happened exactly with his sister petition ;-)

Good luck!

Okay, I am trying to understand the facts.

A:Mother passed after sons interview

A:sister was in admin process and she is still in admin process.and they did not inform the embassy that their mother passed.

3. The brothers were the only ones who got interview letters and then approved and the sister did not. I am confused. Why was the sister not approved? Did she ever receive an interview letter? Did she have an interview? Was she place in AP after the interview? Did she notified USCIS or the embassy that her mother passed?

A:yes the brother's were the only who got the interview letters and their sister not got letter .sister priority date was diffrent i think because of her age.before 2 years of interview brother's were under f2a category but later because of age visa category changed into f2b.

Both Brothers are in usa from last 2 years and permanent resident.

A:she was married because she was getting old and pakistani culture is diffrent.

Now tell me this thing will effect the brother's green cards ?

Good luck!

Once you receive your green card, no one can take it back :) unless you involve in some criminal activities. So case of his sister or US embassy has nothing to do with their green cards as they are LPRs.

If the mother passed after the sons got the interview and green cards, then I don't believe they will have an issue with their green cards.

About the sister, if she would had just communicated the embassy or USCIS maybe she would have been able to keep her application going under sectiom 204, see link:

http://www.uscis.gov/green-card/green-card-through-family/basic-eligibility-section-204l-relief-surviving-relatives

I think now the embassy thinks she lied about it by not telling.
