Help with the birth and police certificate for the interview

Hello everyone ! So this is my first topic and the situation is :

I'm born in Portugal and I immigrate to France when I was 3 years old but I still have the portuguese citizenship. My question is about the birth certificate and the police certificate we need for the interview :
1) Do I have to translate my portuguese birth certificate and also my police certificate ? I pass the interview in Paris, France.
2) Do I have to show my portuguese police certificate in addition to my french police certificate ? Since I leave Portugal when I was 3 years old..

I-129F NOA2 : April 20th, 2015

I-129F NOA2 Hard copy : April 27th, 2015

I-129F NOA2 Sent to NVC : May 8th, 2015

NVC receive our case : May 11th, 2015

NVC attribute case number : May 11th, 2015

Our case left NVC : May 14th, 2015

Our case arrive at Paris Embassy : May 18th, 2015

Packet 3 received : June 5th, 2015

Medical : June 23th, 2015

Interview : June 25th, 2015

Visa received : July 8th, 2015

Portuguese birth certificate must be translated to Engilsh (but submit both).

You need police certificates from countries you resided for more than 6 months since age 16,

so just French police certificate (with English translation as well) should be sufficient.

02-27-2015 Driver's learner permit test was denied since the SS card was given to SS office for name change

03-17-2015 Started to change all her accounts to married name
03-23-2015 Received potential interview waiver letter
03-27-2015 DMV rejects learner's permit due to "legal status=pending" and vision test failure
04-05-2015 Vision test for learner's permit
04-06-2015 DPS sent us letter that DHS cleared my wife's status to acquire driver's license.

04-22-2015 Received Driver Learner's Permit ID card (expires 02/16/2016)

08-31-2015 Received Green Card "Welcome Notice Was Mailed" letter

10-26-2015 Passed Driver's License Road Test (on 3rd attempt)

At Frankfurt they just in December changed the requirement to police certificate in every country where you have lived for more than 12 months.

Of course that was after I hast just procured one from UK, where I had lived for 11 months. 80 euros for nothing ...

Read the (latest!) checklists carefully! Each country is different, and the rules change all the time.

Read the (latest!) checklists carefully! Each country is different, and the rules change all the time.

Yea I have read that in Paris Embassy, they ask about the police certificate of the country of citizenship and the police certificate of the resident country but they don't say anything about being 16 years old and more or about the time we lived there.. That's why I made that topic.

In my case, I just need the french police certificate even if i'm a portuguese citizen because I immigrate when I was 3.

But yea I agree each country is different and each person is a special case lol

Anyway thanks for the help and I wish everyone gets what they want soon :)
