Hi everyone, just a newbie here with a few questions, i filed my fiancee k1 petition about a month ago and got the NOA1 hardcopy on Feb 20 within a week of filing. Today i checked the status on our case on USCIS and it says this.

On March 16, 2015, we approved your Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), Receipt Number #############. We will mail your approval notice. Please follow the instructions in the notice.

My question is, does this mean i sould recieve NOA2 soon ? and if so does anyone know what the average time between NOA1 and NOA2 is? I am not complaining at all since things seem to be moving fast but i was expecting to wait 2-4 months for the NOA2 and its been about a month since i filed and im wondering if i can start celerbrating and tell my fiance the good news.

thanks for all that can help

Danny

OK thanks for the info, but should i start gathering my aff of support paperwork now or wait till the petition reaches the us embassy?

You should wait until you at least get the new case number so the medical can be booked.

That way the forms won't be too out of date!

Any supporting evidence can be about 3 months out of date. And if you have time in between the medical and interview to send more recent information that's good, but those can be copies. So you can email them.

My advice is to email supporting evidence and with the affidavit to fill all and sign but leave the date blank if you really want to send it sooner.

I agree with Cody and Daisy. Though You can start on the 134 now and update it if needed. It may take a little time between the NVC and the consulate and when your fiancé gets their notice to schedule an interview. Once the interview is scheduled, you can finalize the 134, and schedule the medical. In my wife's case, they were pretty flexible with scheduling the interview date.
