It will be easier and more than likely cheaper to get all your shots in your home country. There is not to my knowledge a by state list or requirement. Get the Docs at your medical to give you all of them and have them sign off on it as complete. The costs in the US to get them done and transcribed it high. Get all of them in your home country and have your vac sheet marked complete.

thanks for the quick reply

With no vaccination record i know it will be expensive to have them in the US , Plus in the clinic website says :

• Vaccination record. If you do not have one, you can bring your medical certificate where the vaccines you have will be recorded, with their respective dates. If it is not possible, the vaccines required in each case will be given on the same day of the medical examination, with an additional cost.

I felt like they were trying to convince me to change my idea and have them in the US , ( i may be wrong ) but why would they put me all these , hindrances ¡¡¡¡

Not sure but to have them done by a civil surgeon here in the states Just the Dr payment can be 350 and up. Then the per shot cost. It is best to get them done in your country and have the documentation with you for the AOS. Each state does not have specific shots needed. The approved medical DR for your K1 medical knows what you need per USCIS guidelines. The costs in the US in addition to the AOS costs will cause you issues.

Hi

I'm not sure if this will be of any help but I have a list that I got from the German medical office that lists what shots are needed at various ages for immigration to the US. However, I am not sure if this is Germany specific. I didn't have a medical record as such either, I just had a few shots from when I travelled to Thailand a few years back. I HAD to have influenza and MMR though, the German doctors told me those shots are required for everyone under the age of 50 immigrating to the US. If you would like to see the list, I'd be happy to post on another reply if you let me know your age.

It might help a little with what you are looking for!!

I'm from the UK, hubby is from Michigan and is a retired US Army LTC.   We are currently stationed overseas.

Here is our immigration journey so far....

10.26.13 - Our wedding in Scotland

11.26.14 - Filed I-130 at US Consulate, Frankfurt (DCF)

11.18.14 - Returned to Scotland to renew our vows for our first wedding anniversary

01.08.15 - NOA2 received in snail mail, together with case number and Packet 3 instructions

02.15.15 - Submitted Packet 3

02.17.15 - Packet 4 received by email with instructions to schedule medical and interview

02.18.15 - Email authorisation received from Consulate to gain access to appointment calendar

03.03.15 - Medical

03.18.15 - Interview - Approved

03.21.15 - Visa in hand

06.10.15 - POE Chicago (final destination Detroit)

07.20.15 - Received SSN in mail

07.27.15 - Received 2 year green card in mail

The journey to ROC starts here...!

10.05.15 - Returned to Germany on government orders

05.25.17 - Mailed ROC package to California Service Centre

06.14.17 - Received NOA 1 (dated 05.30.17) in mail

09.05.18 - Received a second NOA (dated 08.11.18) in mail granting a further six months extension to green card due to 'processing delays'

11.26.18 - ROC - Approved

12.05.18 - Approval Notice I-797 received in mail

12.18.18 - 10 year green card received in mail

The journey to citizenship starts here...!

Hi

This is what the German medical office require for people aged between 27-49. As you're also from Europe it may be similar but please do try and double check for sure!! As you are already in he US this may of course change depending on what state you are in, or it may be completely irrelevant.

Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria and whooping cough)

MMR

Varicella (chicken pox and shingles)

Influenza

I'm not sure about getting missing vaccinations in the US, someone else will need to chime in on this one! I'm not familiar with AOS procedures, I'm DCF'ing through Frankfurt with CR-1.

Good luck!

They should know the vaccination requirements for AOS. They are not state specific. They are based on age, illness history and season. Panel physicians should know all the technical requirements and aspects of their job > http://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/exams/ti/panel/vaccination-panel-technical-instructions.html

You need one in a series for MMR, Tdap/TD, varicella(unless you already had chickenpox), and flu shot(only during flu season/Oct. - Mar.). http://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/exams/ti/civil/vaccination-civil-technical-instructions.html#tbl1

If you do not get them done at your K-1 medical and have them marked off on a properly filled out DS-3025, then you will need to find a civil surgeon in the US that will not insist on a new medical and do the vaccinations only for you.

Details on that here > http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/428381-i-693-report-of-medical-examination-and-vaccination-report/?p=6206232

You might be able to find a civil surgeon in this thread > http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/231026-civil-surgeons-who-dont-rip-you-off/page-13

You cannot do it after. You must have the vaccinations before or at the time of your K-1 medical. The DS-3025 is the vaccinations worksheet document that is part of the overall medical exam documentation.

i did my k1 medical exam on tuesday , i asked the doctor about the vaccinations i need to have and all what they told me was :

1- they dont know what shots i will need for AOS , bz each state has different panel .

2- they recomended me to consult my familly doctor and have them for free .( translate the vaccinations document into english for AOS)

3- they told me to ask my fiance to figure out which shots are needed in California , email them to the clinic to shedule an apointement )

is not that Bizzzzard ¡¡¡¡¡

they are supposed to not mislead ppl like that .

He will need to get them in his country, or after he is in the US. He will then need to take his vaccination records from getting those required shots listed above, and find a civil surgeon that will be willing to do the vaccinations only without insisting on another exam that is not required for a K-1.

By the way, it sounds like the panel physician for his consulate is just terrible, as are some of the civil surgeons in the US.

Blood drawn!? What are they looking for? My poor fiance is going to freak! He hates needles! :/

http://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/exams/medical-examination-faqs.html

What does a medical examination entail?

The medical examination procedure consists of a physical examination, an evaluation (skin test/chest x-ray examination) for tuberculosis, and blood test for syphilis.
