Means just what it says. They will be sending you a notice(interview letter) letting you know when and where to appear for your interview. It will also include a list of what to bring.

There's no magic date anyone here can tell you. It'll depend on your local USCIS timeline and how backlogged they are. You can check processing times on USCIS website pertaining to your city to have a little idea of the last case they treated but you'll have to take it with a grain of salt though because it's not 100 reliable. Good luck and be patient, you'll get your interview in due time. It took me 6 months since filing to attend interview. I filed August 14th 2014, got my interview notification on January 28th 2015, and the actual interview date was a few days ago on March 4th 2015.
