Wife got her EAD and AP approved so we're just waiting on the card. We'd like to go get her a SS# after it comes in. Question:

Does she get a number immediately or is there additional processing time? Does she get a card printed at the office or does it take a while to get?

Thanks!!

They won't have the number instantly for you when you apply. You can return the next business day to ask for your number. You won't receive the actual card for about 7-10 days in the mail.

~ Moved from AOS from Family Based Visas Progress Reports to Social Security Numbers - topic is SSN ~

You guys are so lucky. Just two months to get EAD & AP that's hilarious. I can't wait to get mine specially for AP and travel back yo my country.

Apparently they take less time to do things in the west coast than here east coast.

Awesome!
