DCF and re-establishing domicile

I've searched the forums and couldn't find an answer, so here is my question. When I moved to Chengdu, China from the US seven years ago, I sold everything I owned, hence I have no domicile. I am planning to file DCF for my wife to immigrate to the US this year, but I don't know what to do about re-establishing domicile. I have no personal bank account in the US, only a business account. My US driver's license is based on my mother's address in FL, but she has passed and the house went to foreclosure. I have no other relatives remaining. Although the instructions for the I-130 mention "intent to re-establish domicile" there is no additional guidance. Also, there is a line on I-130 asking for an address where the beneficiary intends to live.

Any and all advice regarding how to deal with this issue is sincerely appreciated.

I have a similar question that I hope can be quickly answered.

I'm a US citizen on a student visa in the UK. I've been here for 6 months now but I intend to go back to the US once my semester is over.

My wife is a UK citizen and we recently married here in the UK. We're intending to apply for the spousal visa soon. Because I'm on a student visa, what do I need to prove my domicile? Do I just scan a copy of my student visa (or provide them the real thing)?

Thanks.

You need to prove you've maintained domicile - so driver's license, bank accounts, being covered under a car insurance policy, proof of where you will be living when you get back, etc. Think about things that kind of say "I still officially live in America", which shouldn't be hard since you are on a student visa.
