I am sure this has been answered, however me and my wife will file for her removal of temp GC and apply for the 10 year green card. My question is, we will apply in the 90 day window before her temp GC expires, how long does it usually take to receive the 10 GC? I know we get the extension etc etc, I just want a time frame 2 months, 8 months? average time she will get it?

Last one I saw was a year, but it varies.

I got mine in under 3 months. You should check the different "filers" e.g "November 2014 Filers", "December 2014 Filers", "January 2015 Filers", etc. so you can have an idea of other people's experiences.

There is no "average" time. Good luck! :)

The average right now is around 7 months for both Vermont and California. See: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/liftstats.php?cfl=

However by the time hers is adjudicated, it could be more or less than that.

it varies, mine was more than 7 months because they asked for more additional documents. But as long as you apply before her 2 GC expires she will be all set.

We just "celebrated" 6 months of waiting...... It is of marginal consequence. The burden of proof is on USCIS to prove that we have a bogus marriage. The stepson is in college, Mom and I are just working to keep the roof over our heads, food on the table, and clothes on our backs. In the meantime, we just keep living our family life together; all the while collecting more family evidence, living our American family dream.

YMMV.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Mine was almost 9 months. RFE received after 7.5 months of waiting.

But I think VSC is working faster now.

ROC VSC mailed 5/7/14

NOA1 5/9

Check cashed 5/14

Biometrics current

RFE dated 12/18

RFE mailed 1/20

Approved 2/2 ! ( letter came from the local office)

Card received 2/17/15 !!!!
