i filed i-130 and it was approved and i also filed the i-129f is was approved to i already started the process at nvc for my i-130. i got a email today from the embassy say the received my petition for k-3 visa and i can get a interview now what should i do ?? and if i do pick th k-3 visa will my husband have to back to interview for IR-1/ CR-1 ? please help me

no, the K3 is to enter the country and do the adjustment of status process. whatever you have done so far will be a waste, since you have to start the process again, file forms, payments and documents because the interview will be in the US

you still can decide to go through consular processing and have the interview in the country of origin

If you are somehow able to interview for a K3 visa and have it issued, there wouldn't be an interview for a CR-1 visa. However, since the K3 is a non-immigrant visa, it would be necessary to go through the Adjustment of Status process in order to obtain a green card.

However, with the I-130 now on-station at the NVC, the Embassy will likely get word of this and adminsitratively close the K3. Another VJ member had a K3 interview scheduled only to have the interview cancelled, the K3 closed, and be told to complete the steps at the NVC.
