UNLOCK the N-400 Expedited Naturalization via Section 319b Thread

It doesn't make sense to lock a thread because it is old and someone recently posted in it - especially when the recent post is on topic of the subject thread. If we are going to do that, then there are countless other threads that would need to be locked. There are 715 pages of threads on this sub forum - are we going to lock every thread that hasn't had a post in 2 years? Makes zero sense.

There are very few places to find 319b information for people not associated with the military. Just because a thread is only pertinent to a few people, doesn't mean it isn't important.

For any moderator - please unlock the N-400 Expedited Naturalization via Section 319b thread.

Good points. Allowing old threads to be revived and to remain active is sometimes a judgment call. Often, the information in them is stale; equally often, people begin to respond to the early posts of years ago without reading the entire thread. The chief exception to closing a revived thread is when the OP of the thread returns with an update -- yet even then, other members might respond to the beginning rather than the update, and pose questions to members who have been inactive for years. To leave revived threads open can lead to great confusion. Perhaps worst, regular members might not be very diplomatic when telling the recent poster that the thread is very old.
