The I-864EZ is not for e-filing, It is a simplified version of the I-864, it is used in cases where assets, and co-sponsors are not needed.

An income level above 55,000 is a perfect case for using the I-864EZ.

Anyone use this? Is it just for e-filing? What if your income is above $55,000 can this be used?

the 864EZ is for someone that is using only the petitioners income for proof. i used it for my application. the consulate staff did give me a little trouble about using it since they are used to seeing the regular 864. after showing the form and the instructions with it, they accepted it.

as long as you are not using anyone elses income for proof, the 864ez is acceptable. just be prepared for some resistance at the consulate.

I also used the EZ form...it is much simpler than the regular :) If you only have 1 sponsor that has a income above the 125% poverty line...i say go for it :)

I'll try it. What is the worse that can happen??? RFE!!!!!!!

I also used the 864ez, but in the directions it said to use all CAPITALS, so I had to redo it a second time.

Most people in this forum would not be dealing with a consulate for the I 864EZ.
