I received my approval from NVC on last December. I'm still waiting for the embassy in Algiers to contact me for the interview

Do I have to send an email, call them or go to the embassy to the embassy requesting the date for the interview?

What's their email o r phone number?

I have no idea how to start this email, Please help!

Thanks

Call the NVC and get your case number. Log on to https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=o/iS8zDpeAKjMWCuebHqOw==and select Check my visa status, then immigrant visa and put in your case number. Case number is three letters of the city where your embassy is, followed by the year and some numbers.

Once you do that, you will either see "at NVC" "In Transit" or "Ready". If it says Ready contact your embassy and confirm that they have your file, then ask them where to find the instructions. Some embassies contact the beneficiaries, others don't. We had to email our embassy in Mumbai and even call them to figure out what to do.

Also check out your regional forum to see what the people said who have dealt with the embassy.

This is info for your embassy http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Algeria&cty=Alger

Thank you for your quick reply

That was their answer

Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment. Additional information about how Immigrant Visa interview appointments are scheduled can be found at:http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3731.html
Im gonna contact them and see what's to do next
