My fiance's parents are not to fond of her wanting to move to the US and live here. They would rather me move to Korea. However, both of us want to live in the US. We sent the I-129F off already. She is just wondering if there is any way for her parents to prevent her from coming here? We are doing this all on our own without their help. My family is helping us also. She is 20 and is a Korean citizen. I don't believe that there is anything they can do, I am just asking so that both of us can feel better about the situation. Thanks!

There is nothing under US laws that would prevent her from getting a visa.

I love Korea. Got friends who moved from US to Korea for their wives. Poor bastards. They all hate the working conditions there. Ageism, racism, sexism, etc. are all acceptable at work. One week off per year.

All my Korean students like it in the USC. They say there is not the constant pressure to succeed. They like having time for fun with family and friends.

Don't let her parents get you to stay there. You will not like working like a Korean. You want family time.
