Would stopping in another city in the US prior to heading home for the first time with CR1 visa cause problems?

My husband and I want to travel to another city prior to heading to my hometown when he first enters the U.S. on his CR1 Visa. However, we are worried that this could cause problems in customs? Has anyone had experience with this? Is it better just to head straight home? Or does it even matter since it's a CR1 visa and not a tourist visa?

08-22-14 : I-130 Sent

08-27-14 : NOA1

01-16-15 : NOA2

02-24-15 : NVC Received

02-28-15 : Submit DS-261 (originally)

04-03-15 : Resubmit DS-261 (DONT TOUCH THE LINK WHEN WAITING FOR DS-261 TO BE REVIEWED!!!!)

No it will not be an issue. He can arrived at any POE. Once he clears immigrations and customs. You and Him can travel to any state or city in the USA you want to.
