Post-interview Visa pickup Jamaica

Our visa was approved one week ago. My fiance and I are not quite sure how he is supposed to get his visa. When we registered for the interview, we put a delivery address down. Does DHL deliver it to that address? Or does he go to DHL to pick it up? Also, what is the average time frame for getting approved and physically having the visa and flying here? What is the next step in getting him permission to work?

Once you check ceac, it will say issued. Then u will get a waybill number. DHL does not deliver to an address. You either pick up in Kingston or MoBay. It varies how long it takes to get visa. Some folks it takes one month. After visa in hand, you can buy plane ticket.

If you chose to let them deliver to his address then they will. Just wait for the visa to be issued on the CEAC website then two days after you should receive a waybill number via email. You can then call DHL.

On CEAC it says they changed his status on 1/21/15 to READY. What does that mean? His interview was on the 16th.

I emailed the embassy and they said it was still in administrative processing. On CEAC it still just says READY. I am getting so frustrated with them. They have been so slow with everything and it is really discouraging to have to wait even longer when they won't give any updates.
