Question about my case and daughter

Hello everyone.

I am currently a green card holder and I filed for my wife last year. We had a baby last year too and she is six months old now. I will be taking my citizenship oath sometime by the end of the month or February. My question now is can I add my daughter to my wife's petition before I get my citizenship certificate and upgrade the whole petition or I should wait when I get my citizenship certificate this month or next month then I can file another I -130 and add my daughter to the petition and upgrade both petitions(wife and daughter). What is best option that can fast track my case.Thanks

Derivative beneficiaries are not permitted for immediate relative petitions. Once you became a US citizen you would need to file a new I-130 for your daughter.

Day 385 (1/23/19) Denied

Day 400 (2/7/19) Denial revoked; N-400 approved; oath ceremony set for 2/14/19

Day 407 (2/14/19) Oath ceremony in Dallas, TX

Once you have your Naturalization Certificate, you must file i130 for your child. You cannot add the child into your wife's petition. Include a letter requesting for expedite so that the child may be processed at close range with your wife. If your wife's case is approved already attach her NOA2, if not NOA1.

On the other hand, you upgrade your wife's case to IR1/CR1 category by sending your NC to USCIS or NVC (whoever is handling her case now).
