Can anyone tell me how long before you recieved your letter. After case status went to " Ready" we waited two weeks and scheduled our interview to be turned away due to no documents at the embassy. The documents showed up 4 weeks later and now the embassy says to wait for the letter. Locked out of scheduling. Need advise and assurance.thanks.

NVC mailed our packet to Manila USEM January 31, and they physically received it February 19. I also resched my interview to an earlier date but called USEM a few times to make sure they already have my packet before I even go there.

Did they tell you what letter? You can call Mnl USEM, talk to the immigrant department and asked if you can resched it online. Maybe the letter they are talking about is the official packet 4 that includes your interview date.

We called them, and they simply said to wait for instructions from the embassy. We tried to go online and reschedule, but it won't allow us to do so. I believe it is the packet 4 they are talking about. When we ask about the letter, they just tell us we will excited instructions. Medical,ds160,and all documents are complete. Thanks for letting me know of your time frame. That helps. I know many make an appointment and never recieve anything by mail. Hopefully the rescheduling will open up for us soon.

Have you asked if they already have the physical packet?

Once they have it you can they schedule your interview. That's what i did. You can schedule it online without calling them but you need to make sure on your interview they already have the packet.

Yes,we verified through the Nvc and the manila embassy that they have the physical packet delivered on Dec16th. But they will not allow us to reschedule at this time. Online or by phone. I figured that maybe a consulate will be assigned first? Or that it may not be scanned into there system? It is a reliefknowing they have it,but unsettling as to why we can't reschedule. The original appointment was Dec 8 and the embassy closed due to inclimate weather and told us to return on the 12th when they then told us our paperwork wasn't there. I wouldn't think that would have anything to do with it though
