Hello to everybody,

I have a question... I am the beneficiary, and I had to send to my fiancé the form G325A... My question is: on the section that says: This form is submitted in connection with an application for:

I wrote K1visa.... I did that because I saw a video on YouTube about how to fill in this form, now I am reviewing the example forms given in VisaJourney and it says to write I-129F... What shall I do? Do you think it is gonna be a cause to get an RFE if he sends it like that or not? Should I mail him this form again? I am trying not to pay for sending that form again... I am from Colombia and If it is just a simple thing I don't see the point on paying for this again.... Thanks so much for your help...

I know this is difficult, but I will keep trying. It will work because, this distance is nothing compared to our love.

10/2013 we met at church in USA, through some common friends. We became friends.

Nobody here can really answer your question with 100% certainty, but I can say that it is one of the most minor mistakes you could possibly make (and maybe not even a mistake, depending on how you interpret the question) and will probably not get you an RFE.

You really don't have the option of paying to resend a new G325A, unless you're talking about withdrawing your entire application and starting from scratch, which would be a ridiculous thing to do.

Also, please update your VJ profile to reflect that you are at CSC, not TSC. This website relies on accurate information for its processing estimates.

Thanks for answering... Yeah I wasn't sure because some places say to write K1 visa there, and others I-129F... My Fiancé hasn't send the package yet, he is still trying to put it together... When I filled in that form I didn't look at the examples on this page ? but I just want to make sure if I need to mail him that form again before he sends it...

About updating my VJ profile I don't understand what you mean when you say I am a CSC ni a TSC... And how can I change that? Thanks again

Yeah I saw that post and that is one of the reason I wrote this topic... But that person says that he got the application denied because he sent a G325 instead of a G325A... I did send a G325A... And what if my fiancé sends his G325A with I-129F, and mine still says for K1... Would that be problem? thanks

The RFE was for using the G325 and not G325A. I'm guessing he wouldn't have gotten one if he had used the correct form and written K-1, but as I said in my initial reply, it's impossible to know for sure.

Click "Immigration Timelines" at the top, then "Edit/Add My Entry" on the left side, and then proceed and change the service center to California Service Center.

I just looked at the package we sent out. My fiance put K1 visa and I put Fiance visa. We were approved without getting a RFE. I believe it depends on the case worker who will be processing your application. Best of luck :)

We put i-129f for K1 visa... can he squeeze the i-129f part in above what you've already written maybe? If this will ease your concerns :)

I also wrote k1 I hope it wont be an issue since its such an open ended question it says other: (specify) I would just imagine how many people wrote for k1, for fiance visa, for l-129f or both. I mean I don't think its as huge mistake. I dont know I just hope it all goes well. For all of us.

That was me - before I realized the G325 vs. G325A issue, I was grasping at straws looking at what might have been wrong on my submission. YMMV of course, but I doubt this alone would trigger an RFE.
