I have a question for the Thai ladies that have finished the process and have moved to the west. What do you wish you had brought with you from Thailand or wish you had brought more of?

I can answer one thing for the wife. Birth control pills. You don't need a script in Thailand to get them. You can get them at any pharmacy. In the U.S. you need a prescription. Plus they're much cheaper in Thailand.

I did ask the woman at the local Thai food place the same question, their answers were:

1. Bras- They said bring some good quality ones because it may take awhile to find ones they like in US

2. Extra pair of glasses if needed. Much cheaper in Thai than US.

Thats all they had!

Yes, good one, had actually thought of this too.

Yep, for us also. Actually she brought a couple packets but as soon as they ran out had to go to a dr and then pay $43 per month for new ones. Fyi- the ones she was getting in Thailand (bayer Diane 30) are not allowed as birth control in US. Dirt cheap and easily accessible there, expensive and prescription necessary here.
