K1 Fiance visa process with a child - what forms?

Hi VisaJourney folks! Thank you SO MUCH for being here!! Quick question: I am a foreign national, my fiance is American - I have a child (not his). Re the forms - do we need an additional application document (other than the I-I29F?)? I may be cynical, but I can't believe it's only one form for both of us??? Many thanks in advance for all your time and kindness.... :reading:

hi! u mean the petition for k1 and k2 both? no u dont need at this moment, after ur petition will be aprooved on uscis nvc will asign a case number and in ur country at the consulate u will have 2 numbers, for u and ur child. the only thing ur fiance has to do is put the name of ur minor child on the original petition and thats it, the rest u will deal at the embassy ( im in the same situat btw..K1 and K2 at the same time)Good luck! the forms for the interv will be for the child almost like urs, plus 2 affidavits of support

06-18-2019 - 10 years green card approved (no interview)

07-25-2019 - Bio.Appt

K1 allows for a deriviative - meaning you can use 1 petition for multiple people. Each person will need their own visa application too.
