When to pay fees (split topic)

U can call to embassy and req an email with instructions and not wait for the pack, i dont know much about Philip country but here we pay the visa fee on the same day with the interv on the embassy

I don't know if this correct or not but some people say that I can call NVC to get my case number then I can go directly to pay the visa fee and to schedule my appointment without waiting for my case to reach the embassy, is this correct or should I have wait for them to inform me about the procedure?

where do u have to pay the visa fee? after u have the nvc case number u can check ur status and see if ur case reached ur embassy, when the status is : "ready" u can call the embassy and request the informations via email, i advise u to send ur ds-160 after ur case is there, they will send u some forms or an email with all the pdfs u'll need for the interv
