Received a text message today from USCIS stating " my case MSCxxxxxxxxxx is now updated. Check my case status at www.uscis.gov"

What??? we haven't had a case pending since July 2013 when my husband finally received his conditional green card. We have about 4 months until ROC .

While I was trying to log on to the website (it said I was locked out) I received an email from USCIS "with case information for receipt number MSCxxxxxxxxxx There has been recent processing action taken on your case.

Application type: 1765, application for employment authorization"

(hmm... hubby has been using the green card to work, but ok )

"Your case status : Card/Document Production

On November 15, 2012 we mailed your new card for Receipt number MSCxxxxxxxxxx to the address you gave us. If you don't receive you card by December 15, 2012 please go to www.uscis.gov/erequest

....etc"

Yes, the email and text were sent with today's date.

so, If you are not receiving your case status updates.....just be patient people! It can take a while! LOL!
