I have looked on some different posts and found the link, but my question is along the same lines as I have seen but reworded a little differently. Maybe its been answered but taking a minute to process. Here goes. I checked ceac "in transit" and then followed up with a call to NVC and the rep told me that our case was mailed today 12/8/2014. So I went to the dhl.com and tried to track the case using the format EXP082014A but this is what I get....

Some of your queries resulted in an error

  • EXPDEC82014A (Not found): No result found for your DHL query. Please try again.

What am I doing wrong or is it just to early? BTW I have tried a few days before the 8th up to a week but still same error message.

1. you have the format wrong its EXP DD DEC 2014A

2. Petition just left NVC today. Which means its on its way to Boston. It does not get scanned into the system until than.

Like here's an example of one leaving for Kenya on the 3rd me using EXP 01 DEC 2014A it just got delivered today. So it left NVC the 1st but scan date DHL is 3rd. give it until Wednesday or Thursday

I understand how to do that, but my question is I always see people talking about tracking it through dhl so I want to be able to follow it. Thank you anyway though!

I am patient to wait for mine I just wanted to get the feel or see it work but it still gives me an error message. Oh on the other issue remember? It finally clicked in my head on ceac to look at the top of the window and there is where it said "In Transit" remember the other day when I said it didn't work for me? Well it was working it just took time to process in my head may be this is another one of those things lol lol

why dont try track it trought usps here is the links: https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction%21input.action

I don't think I can track our case though USPS only dhl.

I don't think I can track our case though USPS only dhl.

Look what got delivered to Nairobi today. Wooo whooo. And its not USPS. It's DHL. I don't think you were on right screen
