is it a long time with no biometric appointment?

Hi.

We sent in our aos September 27th,recieved an rfe October 21st, sent it an and it was recieved September 19th and we haven't heard anything at all, is this normal? My ead status is still case was recieved.

I received my biometrics appointment letter less than 2 weeks following NOA1. You might want to follow up with USCIS.

You need to call USCIS and talk to a tier 2 supervisor as this is out of normal timeframe for Biometrics appt.

I would try an info pass at your local office to see what stage your application is at. I think you'd have more success that way then by calling them. Did you happen to move or change address at all between the rfe?

Good idea, cause if they generate a biometrics letter at the local office, you can probably do a walk-in apt for biometrics.

No, I didn't move. I guess I will have to contact them next week...at the end of this month it's gonna be 3 months since we sent the application in. Thanks ya'll

Call them ASAP. Not attending your biometrics appointment can result in your case being considered abandoned.

Hey guys. I talked to them and they made a service request. It appears that my ead was approved 2 weeks ago and that I had missed the biometric appointment, but I haven't been notified in any way whatsoever of either the approval or biometric appointment !! Although, they write that they have rescheduled it and enclosed a copy of the asc appointment... Does that mean in the email or by mail?
