Does NVC really take 60 days?

I believe that since CSC has been cranking out so many fast approvals, that there is a backlog for shipping them out, and another one ast NVC for processing them. On the other hand since TSC seems to have so few coming out, they seem to be processing a lot faster. So I think once your case gets in NVC it will probably be out in a week or so. . . .

Most TSC approved cases I've seen recently seem to have arrived at NVC within a week or two and then are approved/sent on to the embassy a week later, so that's good news for you

My petition was approved on November 20th at TSC and sent, I called the NVC 3 days ago and all they would tell me was it could take 30-35 days for them to receive my approved I-129F from the USCIS, not likely but it can, and when they receive and give it a case number they will send a letter in the mail. They wouldn't even bother checking to see if they received because they told me it was too soon. Should I try calling again or just listen to them and wait for the letter in the mail..??

We were also told the 35 day line but will probably keep calling anyway.
