Hello all,

My husband had his interview for the cr-1 visa just over 2 weeks ago, on Thursday, November 13th. They told him that the visa was approved, and that he needed to sign in to www.ustraveldocs.com, and create a profile in order to register to which location he wanted the courier (Grupo Zoom) to deliver his passport with the visa. He told me about it, and I THINK I have been able to successfully create the profile, although it seemed ambigous if I was choosing the location for delivery or pickup of documents. He also told me that they said it would be 10 working days.

So far, no news of the visa, and I'm thinking that as yesterday was a US holiday, it should be today, or Monday if they are taking the Friday off... although I don't know if the 10 days was an outside limit or hard and fast. Meanwhile, I check CEAC, and it says issued... will be delivered or available for pickup soon. I check the profile I created for him at the www.ustraveldocs.com, and it says "the embassy is still in possession of your passport".

So I am starting to wonder if everything is as it should be, and if there's something else we should do. I did e-mail the embassy for more information back when I was trying to figure out the website, and they wrote back after a couple of days, but all the links they sent me had been disabled, and so the e-mail was pretty useless.

So I was hoping someone with experience in this area could either reassure me or else direct me to what else I should do.

Thanks!!

Is there a regional forum where I should post this? But it doesn't seem like there are too many Venezuelans on here?
