Hi All,

I just received the NOA 2 for my application for a CR-1 visa for my wife in the Dominican Republic. I am a bit confused as to what happens next as well as what I need to do next. my understanding is that the NVC will mail review and send it to the embassy in the Dominican Republic and me support affidavid and some other forms. Any more solid information to help us along would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and I look forward to your responses!!

Thank you for the advice. I do need some clarification on something I am not clear on.Will I need to have my wife's birth certificate, Passport cover page, and our marriage license translated into English from Spanish to send into the NVC. I did include translations with my original petition. The website of the embassy in the Dominican Republic site says that for the interview the must be in English or Spanish. I just was not clear on whether or not I will need that to send into the NVS. Thank you!

you don't need to translate any document sent to nvc, not waste money on translations, birth certificate , marriage and divorce of the beneficiary must be original unextended and legalized.

No translation needed?? That's terrific. But it must the original or legalized copy, correct? A bit nervous to send the originals to NVC but I will if that is what is called for.
