it has been a month since POE and no Card or SSN

Hi All,

My mother entered US about a month ago, Elis website still showing Your application/petition has been accepted and is pending review. no SSN either, we went to SSN office and they said nothing for her so we applied again and they said she should receive SSN within 4 weeks. she applied about 10 days ago, anyone experienced the same thing.

Regarding the SSN i believe you left out the option to get SSN send once the beneficiary get to the US in form DS260 that's why you haven't receive till now but ti's good that you reapply it.

And for the GC give it another 3-4 weeks , things are not faster now. You can track by calling USCIS for GC.

Hi Philip Thanks for your reply, actually i checked the box to receive the SSN upon POE but it did not work, i still have copies of DS-260 and it checked.

80% or more don't get the SSN from the check box, just go to the SSA office.

The endroses visa IS a temporary green card for 1 year so that can be used as needed until the hard copy comes. Normally takes up to 3 months but can take 6.

My mom got her GC after a month, but their time frame is up to 6 months. ELIS status should be "case closed" or something like that, then you know they are producing the card.

SSC came after 2 weeks.

Thanks OKflyBoy, it looks like me and you are following the same process, i applied for my mother and then my mother applied for my brother :-). ELIS status still showing accepted.
