Hi guys, I came to the U.S on a K1 visa and got my conditional permanent resident. I joined the army recently and currently filling my N400 form based on Military. I have a couple of questions on the form:

1. Part 11 Q.7A Have you ever not filed a Federal, state or local tax return since you became a permanent resident?

and Q.7B If "Yes" did you consider yourself to be a "non-US resident?

(Technically I haven't filled any tax yet since am still less than a year here, been here only10months and still have a couple of months to file my first tax, so what do you think my answer should be?

2. Part 11 Q.23. Have you ever been arrested, cited, or detained by any law enforcement officer(including any and all immigration officials or the U.S Armed Forces) for any reason?

(Does this include traffic violations??)

Thanks in advance for your response!!

Your answer should be No, and you don't have to answer the 2nd question because of that.

2. Part 11 Q.23. Have you ever been arrested, cited, or detained by any law enforcement officer(including any and all immigration officials or the U.S Armed Forces) for any reason?

It says for any reason. So yes, traffic violations are included. However, its only for alcohol or drug related traffic violations that you need to bring documents for.
