Hi. There are two doctors approved by USCIS near me (Pensacola) and I would like to know if somebody has done their medical with them. I already had my medical in my country but they didn't give me a copy of the ds3025 because they said they couldn't since I was a k1 (trust me I insisted to get that paper but nothing I could do) so I'm getting married soon and I need the vaccination supplement which I also need bc of the flu shot. I called these two doctors: 1. They told me since I don't have a vaccination record I need to get the in a lab who charges me $343 to get all the vaccinations for adjustment and after that I have to go to the doctor and pay $150 for his signature. 2. This one told me they don't do just the vaccination part they do all the medical exam for $200 plus any vaccination I need to get, I am kind of confused bc she said I was getting everything done there including blood test to see if I had my vaccinations but I called another day to make sure and she asked me for my vaccination record and If I didn't have it I would have to get them again. i am not sure about that bc the lady on the phone had really bad English, she was the only one working there and I don't know if this second option is gonna End up being more expensive or not :S. Also this doctor is new in the list of USCIS so no idea how it works with him or her. Has anybody had the medical in Pensacola?

I had mine done in Jacksonville. Basically this is what i have done: locate all the civial surgeons close to me, and then make phone calls to them, asking about if the vaccinations must be done in their office and if another medical exam is needed. The one signed my I-693 form doesn't need the vaccinations done in his office, but need a new medical exam. So I got all the vaccinations from somewhere else which can be covered with insurance. And the whole medical exam and signing the paper cost $150, not bad (some asks for $200 or more ). I suggest you ask if the vaccinations need to be done in their office, after all that's the bigger part of the cost.

If you are adjusting from a K-1, you do not need a new medical exam if you are filing within a year of your K-1 medical. Even if the civil surgeon says you need the new medical, you do not. There is a thread here on VJ about civil surgeons that don't rip you off.

See this post about whether or not you need to see a civil surgeon > http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/428381-i-693-report-of-medical-examination-and-vaccination-report/?p=6206232

hello,

so i did my medical examination today, for 180 dollars with all vaccination, it was the more cheap i have found, i have call different, and some was 200, 225, 450.......and sometimes without vaccination.

So it was the more affordable and near of me, KENDALL area miami, 33193 if you see the site uscis civil surgeon miami dade.

Monday i have to take the result.

they have do to me 3 vaccin and one blood test. All it is include in the price.

Also even i have take my vaccination record, they have do again vaccination because it is more sur for the immigration.

so yes i didn't found less than this price.

lol my arm have everywhere vaccin. and i have normally all ok in France, but i have to do again, like she says, i don't have choice.
