Sending NVC checklist documents

I got a checklist. I was wondering if I could send the necessary document to a friend in the USA and he to print them out and mail them to the NVC. Because if my husband and I sent them it would take two weeks for them to receive it. Is it ok to do it?

Second question, is it ok to print out our papers back and forth or do they need to be single printed?

most of the documents that you need to send to nvc needs your signature. Do the right thing and send it from your location because problem might arise once nvc notice that your signature was only printed from the computer. Its better to be over-cautious than risk of having another checklist . Good luck

It is no paper which needs signature, i have to send proofs mostly. So therefore i was wondering if somebody else different than petitioner and beneficiary can mail checklist papers to NVC. Anyways thanks for respond.

If what you need to send does not require a signature and it is not a civil document that would need to be original, then it is ok to send to your friend via computer and your friend can print it out and send to the NVC.

For your second question, IMO, it's best to keep every on the same page instead of printing on both sides, you wouldn't want to rise the back page being missed and another checklist issued.

Thanks very much, Actually my friend from USA visited us and she goes back now. I thought it would be easier if she took all checklist packages including original signatures. She will be in USA in 1 day and send domestic mail under her name and + 1 or 2 Business days. So that is why i was wondering if it was okey.

As long as the checklist coversheet accompanies the documents, your friend can send them.

Thanks you very much, do you know it exactly or just in case you recommend me to call NVC? like if you have it experienced or somebody got through same and you know i wont be wasting time on waiting in line.
