CFO for getting Passport in married name

So since our I-130 seems to have been approved in record time, the slow process of my wife getting her passport has kicked into high gear.

We are finally getting our NSO marriage cert Nov 4 and tonight she scheduled CFO for Nov 6th so she can have that done and apply for passport in married name.

Is the list of documents required for CFO the same if she's going to get the certificate to apply for passport? Obviously we don't have visa or embassy paperwork yet.

also what is the expedite fee for passport? Is there a box to check on the application, or does she ask the person when applying?

1250 pesos is the expedite fee.

I did have my cfo certificate when I renewed my passport to my married name. But maybe its case to case basis

Cfo requirements are more tedious than passport.

She needs 2 valid ids . Photocopy them

Nso marriage certificate

Cfo certifi cate

Look up one of the cod threads, you'll get all the info on docs required. Or check hanks page.

But I will say this from our experience, be sure the certificate has her married name on it. Someone changed my wife's name to her maiden name, so then when we went to get the sticker, we had to go get it redone and pay again to get it corrected in her married name. Was a pian in the rear the day before our flight.
