but I am a man of few words. and the letter is to the point!!! but try not the confuse the poor government guys who must try and decipher these letters of intent. just tell them you will marry within 90 day of entry.

This is good advice here. Keep it simple. Don't overload the letter with a story about your relationship because it could be interpreted as a "proof of relationship" story and not an actual "letter of intent".

Me and my USC fiancé used that example letter of intent as it is and we were approved in 67 days at CSC, no RFEs.

No, it can (and should) be a similar (or even the same) letter. Its more of a "statement" than a a story-telling about your life's plans together
