IR-1 / Form I-130 review

Hello guys,

I am very happy that November is coming and soon I will be able to start the IR-1 process.

That is the story: I met my baby Becca online by June last year, she lived in Vegas, by December after we were talking through Skype everyday I decided that I should go there to meet her in person, and so I did.

It was awesome we had a great time together, for about two weeks, but I had to come back to Brazil. Two days after arriving here, I decided to spend the last week of my vacations with her again, so I bought the tickets, went back to Vegas, and spent New Year’s Eve with her and her family. In the meantime, I gave her a promise ring and asked her if she wanted to try this rough long-distance relationship, and she said yes! Everything went great thought all these months, she came to Brazil in June/14 we got married and she is living with me now. At first, she did want to stay over here and live in Rio de Janeiro, but she really did not get used to it and we decided to go back to Vegas.

Of course, the story above is missing a lot of things that happened, it was a great year for both of us, and we went through a lot, but always supporting each other!

I have a few questions on the form I130 when it comes to fill up the empty spaces with N/A or NONE and I wonder if you guys can help me out.

Form I-130

Check on the image bellow at the section C:
7) None or N/A

9) It asks if any, so should I just leave in blank?

10) None or N/A

11 and 12) If i putted None on 11 I need to put again on 12 or leave in blank?

14) I can only put "NA" not "N/A" any problem with that? Or should I put none?

Section B:

10, 11 and 12) They are ok like that?

21) She still lives with me, should I print out and put in black ink to present day?

Keep in mind your USC spouse is filing the I-130 not you! You need her to fill everything out and sign it as its her petition. Once it's approved then it's your job to apply for the actual visa.

Here's what I put and got approved:

C:

7) None

9) N/A (In black ink)

10) None

11) None 12) left blank

14) N/A

B:

10,11,12) Same as section C

----------------------------

B:

14) N/A

C:

20) N/A on both boxes

C:

21) Yep, leave blank and write Present Day in black ink

D:

1) N/A

2) I think it says blue or black ink, but I signed with black to be safe.

Yeah she is the one filling everything, just helping her around in the VJ!

Btw, on the section B question 14 I can only put "NA" not "N/A", it shouldn't matter right?

Alright, haha. Some people really don't know that their spouse files the petition.

And yeah NA or N/A doesn't really matter. You could even add a little slash in between after printing it out.

Thanks guys for the help! If possible, please take a look at the G-325a bellow, I have some questions about it too!

Beneficiary G-325a:
1) File Number - None? (never had any application before)
2) All other names used? None or N/A
3) It's correct to put like this? " Wife - Arthur"

4) Former wife? - Never had any before - None or N/A (should I put none or NA in the other fields aswell?)
5) Last occupation abroad? Never worked before, so N/A or none?

1) Former Husband? - None or N/A
2) Applicant's last address outside EUA? She just live with me for like 6 months now, so N/A or none?

3) Applicant's employment? That's the correct way to fill up if she never worked before?

1) No file number, so just put None.

2) None

3) They only need her maiden name.

4) Write None and in all related fields N/A

5) None

Petitioner:

1) None

2) Just write N/A

3) I'm unable to view your photos, but just have her fill in her US jobs (from within last 5 years) and then on the box underneath where it asks about jobs abroad, put None and N/A in the other fields.

It doesn't matter who fills out the form as long as they do it from the proper perspective with the USC as the petitioner and foreign spouse as the beneficiary.

I didn't mean she literally has to fill it out...I said she's "filing" the form, which she is either way. He just worried me when he wrote "should I sign in black ink", haha.
