Hey guys, I just have a simple question, that i want to be absolutely sure of before we send off this package. If the petitioner is a Naturalized US citizen, do they put American/USA on the g-325 form where it asks for Nationality or do they put the nationality of the country where they were born? I know this might seem straight forward Lol but we're just paranoid about everything at this point.

US Citizen is what i put. I was born in Europe and got naturalized here. We did not get an RFE

Okay, thank you very much! :) I hope we don't get one because these adjudicators seem to be very picky

Hi do u have/put Alien NUmber on the form of g325a? I dont know where to find mine and i dont know if i have thanks

Thanks for your previous answer to my question :) as for this question, if you are the petitioner and you are now a Naturalized citizen, you will no longer have an alien number because you no longer have a green card but instead a naturalization certificate. That's what I've read

Type USA or American under nationality. You won't have an alien number because you are already a citizen in the US. Alien numbers are for non-US citizens, for example, permanent resident (green card holders). So just leave the box blank when it asks you for an alien number because it does not apply to you. :)

Thant's not true at all. Some people did get RFE's because they did not put in their Alien #. It does not matter that you are naturalized, your alien # follows you your whole life and you most certainly still have an alien #. You can find your A # on the Naturalization certificate.

You're right, my bad. I just based my comment on the glossary of terms in the USCIS website (definition of Alien Registration Number). Looking further the A-Number could indeed be found on the Naturalization Certificate.

Thanks for the clarification..

I am a born Jamaican and now a naturalized citizen.. i was also confused on what to put there, but i put American since you are filing as an American citizen. However, i believe the alien number follow us forever so i put my alien number which is found on the naturalization certificate on the I-129F form and also the G-325a form to be on the safe side. Good luck!
