Hi everyone, my case got completed on August 20 and I just upgraded from f2a to IR, can anyone tell me when I am likely to get an interview date.

When you say case completed, are you referring to the NVC stage, or USCIS? If it was USCIS that just approved your case, it will be sent to the NVC and you have to proceed with NVC processing before you can get an interview.

Ok, good. Then now you must wait for the interview, and this depends on the workload of the embassy/consulate. It can be anywhere from a month to a few months for the interview. When you know when your interview will be, you can have the medical done.

Congratulations on case complete :dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing:NVC is currently done with November interview dates so its likely you will get December date. The schedule will start ending of October or 1st week of Novemvber all thru to 2nd week of November. Good lurk :star::star:

Congratulations and welcome to VJ. Come on over to the Case Complete to Interview thread. I have already added you to the spreadsheet.

With NVC its no telling how long they take to upgrade their database. When last have you called to see if its all done.

I have a friend upgraded in April and he is still waiting. So I would call NVC Monday just to see are they done with upgrading you and are you now in the interview queue for a December interview.

@dwheels76 thanks for your reply. I spoke to a guy called jean and he said the upgrade is complete and I am now placed in line for an interview,I don't know if I should hope for December interview
