Feeling a little down these days. As of today Mon Oct. 20th, I have been waiting for my NOA2 for the past 73 days. Couldn't help notice many September filers have been approved already. I am happy for them regardless. Just wish mine is approved already.

Is it normal for CSC to take this long to approve mine? :clock:

Tempted to call USCIS hotline but I am sure they would just tell me to wait for 5 months. This wait is driving me nuts.

:help:

Darned government bureaucracy.. I am feeling bad for those anxiously waiting during the holidays. I work for the government, and can say, IMHO, that from here until after the first, things may run a bit slow, as we are in a use it or lose it period for leave. Our office is pretty much bare bones until the first week of the new year. Especially over thanksgiving and Christmas. The reason, well, its easy to patch together a nice long vacation period without using that much leave also.. As the average processing date approaches I will be a basket case of nerves waiting to move forward.

Are you through the CSC? They tend to move thing through pretty consistently, from what I have seen on the time lines.

I feel for you, and be patient.. it will get here quickly

Joel,

Yes, I am through CSC. Because of that, makes it harder since I have seen others take only a month a half or so.

I also work for govt. You are right about people taking use or lose leave. Same situation at my facility too.

I've filed back in July and haven't received NOA2 yet even though it's Califonia service center ( I heard CSC is way faster than the others).

I see many of the July filers had received NOA2 already even August filers and September filers. I am soooo irritated!!!!!

Plus, my timeline on VJ says i might be approved between Sep 29~Oct 9...

Oh man.... ! That's very bad. Have you tried doing something about it?

I know how you might be going through. Please keep me posted of your progress.

On the same boat @ nsh and miyon83. I cant figure out how they work on the files. How can you skip july, august but go straight to September and approved those..it just doesnt add up in my head. No hard feelings to September filers though. If you guys were in our shoes you would understand our feelings and where we are coming from lol.

Another week starts and the wait continues..:(

Very well said nusshaf  My thoughts exactly. Wish they would focus on one month at a time.

Just a few hours ago I found out we got approved yesterday!!! 98 days. So don't worry, CSC doesn't tend to go over a hundred, usually.

I was freaking out as well, checking our status every day, so I was completely baffled seeing "post decision" after getting used to seeing "initial review" every day.

Hold on for a little bit longer, good luck!
